Endless? Boundary - Chinese Contemporary Masters Invitation Exhibition of Zhang Donglin
“Endless·Boundary”-The Chinese Contemporary Masters Invitation Exhibition was successfully held in Zhengzhou Gallery in Henan at 15 o’ clock on Sept. 26th , 2015. This exhibition displayed 100 works of 20 painters like Chen Boxi, Liu Boshu, Yu Zhixue, He Yunlan, He Zhongtai, Yu Yongmao, Chen Keyong, Wang Lvxia, Zhang Wenhua, Fan Yang, Huang Shaohua, Fan Ping, Liu Lin, Gong Jianhua, Qi Ming, An Jia, Zhuang Daojing, Yan Xiaoping, ZhangDonglin, Yuan Danyang. The theme of the exhibition was “Endless·Boundary”, which meant there was no limit between fine brushwork and freehand brushwork under the premise of Chinese painting, regardless of landscape, flowers and birds. The main purpose was to make the audience appreciate the rich and colorful Chinese painting style and artistic charm by focusing on the modern painting influential and representative works.

And through different painting language and works, it’s seen that the exhibition was more significance. That is, not only seeing in carrying forward traditional Chinese painting and developing the innovation in multiform, also understanding the painters’ pursuit of the academic and personal style.
